Came across this site... seem that paddle shifts can also be fitted on non-M steering wheels.. Anyone know where can it be done locally? Or it is better off buying a M steering wheel with it on already? Price wise~? Any advice? Thanks

IT BLOODY ROCKS!!! Now I can imagine myself being JPM or pretend I'm driving the M3! LOL... Imagine yourself driving down a straight doing 140kph in 4th. A corner looms ahead, step on the brakes drop the speed to 50 and click "-" twice in quick succesion. You're in 2nd and take the corner thru' the racing line... feed power through the bend (which haven't straighten out yet) and then upshift when the rev hits 6k... when the wheel is still being rotated. Putting both my hands & legs up in agreement!!!!!

As Vincent said, the grin factor is a definite 11 (outta scale of 10!) and I can see the merits of the system. Mine is 20 out of 10 :> !!!!!!!

Actually suede feels damn bloody goooooood!!!!

Re: Paddle shifters

I tot most people have them on the M-steering wheel... Mine not M, just the normal 3 spoke, so thinking if its any cheaper doing it compared to ordering the whole wheel that comes with paddle shift..

Opps and i think that site is a repost... Sorry guys, didn't do a search before hand

I think it can be done but the paddles you are getting are probably not the SMGII M3 style
rather, it's the SSG paddle style as fitted standard on E46 SMG first generation which retains the use of original 3 spoke steering wheel ( non M3 steering )

Hv a word with Piggyboyz, I think he might hv some idea bout this too.
