We are already very much appreciative of everything that you do already for BMW.SG and hence, if you have to fork out money from your own pocket to keep BMW.SG going, then it is not fair to you. I am sure that the other bros in the forum support my view. We can always work something out whereby everyone is happy in the end.

Thanks again for your support and continued help. I'm currently stuck with the decision of moving to another server and having to forfeit the $$$ that we paid to the hoster, and having to pay another lump sum out.

(1) Charging an annual membership fee is a fair and equitable way of sharing the operating load. In fact, many car clubs are implementing the system. The externality might sway in favour of an enclosed-club concept. Positive or negative? You be the judge.

(2) Advertisement will be good. However, the element of independence might be compromised, at least in perception. Again, this is just a slippery-slope fear. Might actually be contributive in the long run......
