hi guys,
just wanna share a back-breaking afternoon's work with everyone.
our beloved 350Z was snapped up after only 5 days on consignment with a car dealer and as its replacement, we recently bought a pre-owned 996 from a loving owner, who's also a forum member now.
anyway, despite being groomed monthly by a groomer engaged by the previous owner, we found numerous fine scratches and swirls, as well as several deeper ones caused by the infamous rear-wiper blades.
luckily, i have an "in-house" groomer i can always turn to for help.....
in any case, here are the pictures, enjoy!
pre-restoration: fine scratches and swirls
pre-restoration: more fine scratches and swirls
restoration: trims masked up
restoration: the "good stuff" is applied by hand
restoration: curing
post-restoration: ready to leave at last.... edwin personally worked on the car from 9am to 5pm
post-restoration: still shiny despite the rain and dreary weather the whole of yesterday and today
