Hi all, my 2007 320 is losing engine oil rapidly (~1L//1000KM) evevn though I got my valveseals changed at WS just over a month ago.
Brought for second opinion and was told either 1) last WS never do properly so its the seals again or 2) pistons are damaged so overhaul engine.
I'm hoping its 1) because thats the cheapest. But if it isnt then I'm left with the choices:
1) Overhaul engine costs 5x more
2) Scrapping now would lose me 20x.
3) Continue filling 1L/1000km but that's expensive and will probably destroy something before COE runs out.
Thinking of overhaul then renew 5y COE. Any opinions? Eg. does it sound like a good idea given estimated transmission life?
