After reading some forum posts about this titanium oil thinggy, I decide to take the plunge and see if it really works. Bought 5L of the 5W50 oil at $70 per litre (never seen an oil so expensive in my life and its MADE IN SINGAPORE!!).
I drained out my 3 weeks old Redline 10W30 and poured this engine. Wow!! It actually works. Despite being a 50 oil, it revs faster than the 30 oil. The difference is not that great but its noticeable. I am impressed that despite being a 50W oil, it feels like a 30W. The noise level is reduced as engine vibration is reduced as well. This is very noticeable esp. at idle.
Despite being very skeptical, I am impressed that such a good engine oil actually existed and its MADE IN SINGAPORE!!
IMHO, if you are already using a very good 0W20 or 10W30, you may want not need this cause I doubt it will be much better (considering its premium, the difference may not be worth the money). However, if you are using 5W40 or 10W40 and you are looking for better stuff, the Texas oil definitely works.
Although it cost significantly more, FC will improve and the better FC may be enough to offset the oil premium. Although more testing is necessary to prove this.
