See this steering wheel bluetooth... swee swee

Note: The device has been modded. So if you see this in the shop, please do not just buy and hope to install it the way I did. The original size do not fit. I had to dremel (saw) a part of it off.

If that was 2 times smaller and won't impact my steering, i'll hit it.

Re: OEM Steering Wheel BT

Is that the SeeCode model from Orange Comms.
I thought it should be located at the 12 o clock position to see the Call ID ?
Maybe block your view on the meters in front...
BTW how do you recharge it ? permanent dc source or take out to recharge?
Tks.

Re: OEM Steering Wheel BT

take out the battery and recharge, the speakers are a little small... so its hard to hear at times but build quality looks fantastic...

Re: OEM Steering Wheel BT

Right. It's the Seecode. Originally, I had it at the 12 o'clock location but it blocks the meters very badly. So it had to mod it to fit into the lower section. I literally dremel an end of it off. This way, it is sandwiched just nicely such that I don't even need to use the 'clip' to screw it on the steering.

However, note that my HTC TyTn cannot transfer the phone book to the BT. Probably software incompatability. Otherwise, the dull black finishing looks good on the steering. It serves my purpose well.

Battery can be slotted out for charging, via mini-USB
