So both BVO and J4C are doing software reflash? non with hardware?

happens sometimes...

i'm using Unichip myself. Obit's a bit out of date i reckon...
But if you can find a good tuner, why not.

I think gains for either option shouldn't differ by too much. Since no turbo's are involved.
A reflash might put you marginally up - but it does cost more, and isn't transferable.
