yo!!!... was wondering, what u guys think wat kinda numbers these three kits SK+, SK1 and SK2 can pull out?.

Re: Number for SC.

For a E46 330i,

Technical Data:
All performance data was obtained using vehicles equipped with manual transmissions and standard power according to manufacturers' specifications.

SERIE E46 330i 2979ccm Compression ratio 10.2:1
Original Power : (at 5900rpm) 231hp Torque: (at 4200rpm) 300 Nm

SK+ 286hp 345 Nm
SK1 320hp 400 Nm
SK2 340hp 410 Nm
SK3 370hp 430 Nm
SK4 400hp 460 Nm

Re: Number for SC.

wow... those are numbers... but u get exactly that even in our kinda weather and all??..

Re: Number for SC.

For stock SK kits ( w/o changing pulleys etc )
SK+ 40-50...some cars can get more, like set up in Z seems to be giving more than E46 320
SK 1 prob 100
Sk 2 above 100

Those are crank bhp
I dont hv experience with this just some numbers I read from somewhere b4.

Intercooler plays a significant role.

Re: Number for SC.

Oh yes, forgot to add!

The 320s would yield more gain from the SC kits over the 325 and 330s even on the same boost settings. Reason being the 320 has a higher compression ratio.

Please do not be mistaken that a 320 would have higher bhp than a 330. Its just that it is able to extract more bhp from the SC kits.

Re: Number for SC.

Again
It's more important to see the power/torque curve rather than the max power/torque numbers

Re: Number for SC.

wow... i think slightly around there or below uh?.

Huh? SK+ gives more than 320hp?? is it a 3L engine block?

so u reckon a 320 with the three kits, wat kinda number u think it'll be able to pull?.

Given a very conservative estimate, base car being a STOCK E46 320

1.) SK+ : 205bhp
2.) SK1 : 220bhp
3.) SK2 : 240bhp

This is my very rough aggaration estimate on a normal day, average temperature of 31deg and humidity of around 65%

These number sound reasonable enough eh...

No way bro. A standard 2.2L with SK+ 6psi yield abt 30 to 40hp like u mentioned.

320hp, wow!! engine work has to be done.

In any case, the fuel ratio has to be richer else detonate being a high compression ratio engine.

SK+ kit and SK1/SK2 the blowers are diff right??.. so am i right to say SK+ 6psi boost is not the same as SK1 6psi boost?.

E46 320 more that 300bhp with SK+?

Nope
I thot i posted something quite clear

I was saying that different car churns out different number for the same kit
For eg in Z4, it seems that it is able to give better output than E46 models
Seen it before.

Dont forget that wif auto gearbox, u hv a limit of how much u can go.
Else it will KABOOM....

I won't ever put on this stuff unless I hv a manual gearbox. That's just me tho.
