No spare tire compartment on F10?

Hi,

I notice there is no spare tire compartment on the new F10.

So it will be a problem if change tires to non RFT?
Any gd ideas to solve this issue?

It will be weird if you buy aftermarket non-RFT wheels in a set of 4 plus one spare, even assuming the set is a non staggered setup...

Agree with etan1; get a tire repair kit. It's just a cylinder filled with some kind of foam.

I understand that Tire Inflator is gd for quick fixes.
Eventually sealant give out under mileage or heat. It will b a problem if driving in Msia.

Kent, i have a spare tire from my E60. Can it b use in F10?

i don't think that will be a prob. singapore is a small country with so many tyre shops islandwide.

IS nothing wrong to switch to Non runflat tyre,(just that you have lost the benefit of runflat tyre) drivng without any spare wheel is fine just inconvenient if you have a flat tyre.
your E60 spare may able to fit your F10 just get your tyreman to test both front and Rear(F10)
Those tyre repair kit is stil a temp measure and need to get it fix properly by internal repair,
And just for your info is not going to be easy job to do the outside repair by yourself,and it may sometime more harmful to your tyre you may demaged the tyre (hole is enlarged) and becoming beyong repair.

Not having spare tyre is a weight saver. Anyway, sealant is shell life of 3 yrs. Ask Mock. He kena punctured in the rain. If not for tyre repair kit, he mightt have to spent more time in the rain.
