Greetings everyone,

Just bot a 2yr+ E39exec, will be getting car middlde of the week.

Used to own a E21 in the nineties, regretted selling it away. Anyway glad that I found this site after Googling for BMW Club SG.

Let me know of any useful links whether E39 related dor not,

Hi gadaffi,

Where's the meet-up? Would like to find out how I can increase the hp of the car & lear more about the car frm fellow owners. I find this car rather comfortable to drive but feel it's got more potential in teh hp segment but unsure how to unlock it...

Another thing is the Car is still under warranty so tempering with the ECU may void it....

Go to meet up this sunday.. look for fello bros like T6, Gabey and Ac boy... they are e39 owners.. their ride quite heavily modded. There are more e39s owners ard.. show of hands pls..

Welcome to the forum. There's tons of info to be found on the forum if you have time to go through the past threads. More popular mods are underdrive pulleys, cold air intakes and struts bars. Not forgetting the aesthetic mods like wheels, bodykit and exhaust.

Keep an eye on The Bazaar section - you may be able to find 2nd hand items for your car selling at great prices.

Btw, just sent me car in to PML to have the PDC fitted & changed tyres....picking it up tomorrow at noon......

Wah u damn kind lah. Even change tyres also do it at PML. See u tmr bro! I drive a black e39 with no 67. If u stand next to it and stare at it long enough tomorrow, I will know u wanna fond out more abt e39s and I will come look for u. Keke.

Good to catch u guys during the meetup today. 'Low hanging' fruits in terms of minor mods for me will be the Volker plugs & under drive pulleys....Need to get around to the workshops like Juzz for cars & UM2 etc..

Still got lots to understnad abt the car. Then again had it for less than 2 weeks....

Yuin,

I did my UCC pulleys yest at JFC, changed the plugs to Denso ZU (was told Zu is better than VOlker?), K&N filter. Did oil interim oilchange, Tempted by the Hiop ECU mapping......
Thk will rest a while....Throttle felt much lighter & engine response defineitely improved. Monitoring FC though....
