Re: newbie

wah, now that's confidence man. good luck with your test.

Re: newbie

hahaha, more of an eager-beaver!!!

but honestly, the price was quite attractive n i fell into the sales strategy of "decision by this date"

Re: newbie

just out of curiousity, did they let you register the car in your name despite not having a licence?

Re: newbie

yup, it was registered under my name.

was told im the 1st guy that bought one without a license! guess theres a 1st in everything =]

Re: newbie

welcome. mayb can drive ur 5er to the test and sure succeed...cos got 'horse' sure succeed...good luck:)

Re: newbie

ha, thats a good one!

i ll just be too tempted to work the horse beyond the test limit of 60km/h

thanks!

Re: newbie

if i'm not wrong, theorectically only limited by road condition and speed limit allowable. e.g. if test routes go up to 60/ 70km/h, examinee could drive to that limit, i.e. drive as if you are seasoned driver to show tester your on road confidence.

Re: newbie

hmmm, not so sure whether without indication has been raised to 60km/h...thot it was still at 50. only certain stretches have been revised. while the link mentioned "island wide review", it did not say all roads are now 60km/h or more...

Re: newbie

Just wondering, how you get your new car home from PML??

No license and buy own car under your own name!! its the 1st time i hear b4 too!
Congrats on the car.

Re: newbie

ha, speed limit or not, most sporeans r certainly not driving at 50-60km/h!

hi xuexun.

there was a queue of voluntary chaffeurs! my woman picked up the horse with me at PML =]

Re: newbie

having parked the car in my estate for the last couple of weeks, i've officially qualified to drive my car since last friday!

one question if anyone of u could advise - im no expert but the pick up does feel a little draggy unless i floor the accelerator, is this is an inherent flaw/trait of the 523?

Re: newbie

congrats on your getting your license on your first go. did u by any chance drive your 5er to the test? :)
