Sorry I m quite confused ... so who did u buy from ? the owner or the dealer? where is the 5K from?
ACtually who are these 4 dealers??

i bought from those lone dealer who occasionally have those one-off beemers to sell. price wise it was at least 5k cheaper compared to me getting from those other dealers. as for the 4 dealers, i also dun want to mention names wait kena sue-ed for defamation. i have been to 2 of them and personally enocuntered their sales tactics so thats why i advise the bros here to be careful. i'm always after a good bargain and am happy to share it with ppl who appreciate it. anyway, i was helping Bro Kosmik here looking for the IS coupe, end up finding another good lobang for a E36 320 from the dealer who sold me my 318, anybody interested can PM me. like what Bro Kosmik suggested, i'm so tempted to change my ride to that...hehe.....but too bad, i getting attached to my 318 nowadays.

Re: Newbie with a 92' 318iS manual

just went by my dealer to have a look at the 320 plus a van i was helping my fren to shop for, no tots of changing liao...hehe....cos i still find my 318 baby chio-er than it...hehe
did my fair bit of maintenance of my baby, polishing, i hand wash it myself, new low profile tyres on my 17s rims. unless i find something more beautiful than my existing 318, i aint gonna change it...haha...i guess thats what being a beemer lover is all abt....i aint rich but i love my beemer...keke

This is the car we're discussing: http://www.sgcarmart.com/main/info-2fQlLTN-1059.html

Looks OK, and even drives OK (considering mileage), but its got a new radiator + hoses + head gasket - tells me its dumped its radiator some time recently. Cracked head + maybe more, who knows.

Anyone know anything about the history of this car? Of course its all tricked up with the usual bodykit and other crap. Frankly am not impressed with such plastic adornments...

i aint impressed with the bodykit cos i also have the same one....haha.
anyway like what i advised bro kosmik, my main concern here is the high mileage.
what comes with the high mileage is wear n tear. for a car that age, mileage should be around 200k plus but his was 300k+ so thats scary, at least to me. with all those "changes", i can say the previous owner killed the engine, radiator and stuff so i'm wondering what else needs to be changed. the car only costs 30k plus but he might end up spending another 10k on repairs....gearbox already another expensive concern especially since its a manual car.
