Hi everyone,

I am currently driving Honda Stream and currently contemplating to get a pre-owned late 2005-06 BMW 320i or 520i. I've always been a greater lover of 5 series's eyelid and headlight... Want to explore the possibility of owning one. Cant afford a brand new one so thinking of getting a pre-own.

Hope you can share some advise to me?

Hi AC323, what would be an ideal budget for both? Secondly, I heard from many friends that BMW are well known for its gearbox problem and it is extremely pricy to replace it, is it true?

Hi Bruce,

i think it will be good to check out sgcarmart for a guide and also ownership and mileage of the ride plays apart on the pricing.

best you wanna drop by PML Kg Arang to check used 3 series and 5 series that comes with a 1 warranty by PML.

gearbox usually will give way around 150,000km (plus / minus) as depend on the driver driving style plus how's the ride is being maintain.......
