Newbie looking for 316i

Hi guys, I'm in e logistics biz. looking for a COE 316. Any good rides to intro? Would prefer e manual stick though.

Also I'm totally lost reading through some of e threads. E30, 36 etc. Tried google but catch no ball. Someone pls

U looking for a M40 (timing belt) or M43 (timing chain) engine?

i'm not really sure. is M40 pre-FL while M43 is FL?

yes m40 is the old engine block which also can be considered to be pre-facelift as there is a slight difference in the front grill. the m43 is the newer engine block and has a slight improve in toque and hp compared to the m40.

saw HS's 2 rides. lovely but can't stretch my budget that much.

just a general enquiry.. for onboard computer, only certain service intervals will be required correct? is it as simple to say do ur own oil change as per ritual then pop by BMW specialist wkshops when CEL lights up? sorry my only hands-on experience previously was only with FIAT.
