Hey guys...

I'm new to this forum. Just took over a 92 E36 318is. Wouldn't be surprised if the previous owner was in the club. My name is Mark Yee as my id shows. Think i saw a Mark Lee here that owns a E36 318 also right? anyway, Am trying to get it back to as good a condition as possible. i'm quite a noob when it comes to all aspect of cars so think i need all the help i can get.

ok this is gonna sound really stupid but,
How do your differentiate whether your car's a E36 or E34 etc etc... like i know mine's a 318is but what's with the E--??? sorry if it's a very stupid question.

hi mark yee, welcome to the forum. yes i am the mark lee u are talkin about....i drive a e36 316i...dont know much about the E thing but its just to identity the different series and generations of bmws.

E is i think the model number... like E36 is the 36th car out from BMW, E46 is 46th.. correct me if i;m wrong...

I heard the new 7 series will be F-ed

man..what are u guys on about??.. hahha... E-nos are bmw's way of indicating chassis ..still confused?..check this out.
