This is quite frivolous.... just noticed 1-series style wipers fitted on the new E90 318i and 320i at the showroom today... wonder why they changed it...

You're probably right - less metal and plastic on the new design!

its very common these days amongst bmw's. different models sharing alot of similiar parts. pressure for cost reduction is getting to them.

Sales goes up but it does not translate into higher profit margin. It needs to translate higher sales into higher profit margin.

Then I guess they might be behind Audi/VW - just looking at how many models have received the 2.0T GTI engine. :shock:
