Hi, Ryan here. Was reading up on some of the posts regarding G30 as I was planning to get one to replace my F10 of 9.5 years. Would like to hear from you guys whose ride is G30 530i, is the reliability same as the G30 520i? Was also contemplating the parallel importer but heard that the BMW connected drive is not available.

Same engine why would it be different ?
just different tuning.
I would tune the 520 up outside

Ah yes..it can be tune! Any rides here that is PI, would like to know how to get the connected drive to work.

Can I add ConnectedDrive to my BMW?

Every new and nearly new BMW is equipped with ConnectedDrive for three years, after which BMW owners will need to pay annually for the service. New users with eligible models can register on the ConnectedDrive portal and link their car up using the VIN number and their personal details.

Was told by the PML and PI agents that the connected drive is country specific hence if buy PI this feature is not available and there is no way could get it working here in Singapore.

forget about it and drive the car
