New servicing intervals for BMW

Hi,

Recently, I heard that for the new batches of BMW, performance actually recommending them to go back for oil change every 10k?? So for those already on the roads, does it mean that we should go for servicing every 10k as well?

The reason given by performance is that city driving is very bad for the cars, hence more regular oil change is needed.

Any gurus here to enlighten me?

So they are trying to say old batches of BMW are more suitable for city driving and is not bad for the car or now than they realise that Singapore oso got city not Kampong only..

I normally change every 15000km. Even though of the recommended 20-25k. No engine will complain of frequent changes. Its even better and smoother for the engine.
