New Saab 9-5 in Singapore for sneak preview

Video of the left hand drive show car arriving in the Leng Kee showroom. Lots of tech, though they are not new to other marques like BMW and Merc, this is Saab's most advanced car ever.

The car is 5.008m long and is a totally brand new design from Saab, pity it wasnt able to be launched in early 2009 due to the GM problems.

5 metres is long but it hides its bulk well. I walked past a F10 with my wife last night, and i told her that despite me staring at the 9-5 everyday, i still feel that the F10 looks longer....

Have read a review saying that the 9-5 looks fast even at standstill, and thats true when you finally see the car in the flesh.

wow, nice interior!!!!
and a great cosmetic change from the previous model, which had ugly headlamps.

too bad its a Saab, not much resale value. if its in the second hand market after a while, dun mind getting one.....

Hopefully they improve the brake which is the main weakness of the previous 95.. When I send my 95 for service they tot i am a lawyer or doctor too...A lot of brudder singh own Saab so if cannot associated with lawyer/doctor and singh, you cannot own this car.

ya man...needs bigger rims, especially the rear ones...if can add spacers, lagi fierce.
nice front but the rear lights seems somewhat sama sama like the honda accord and mazda 6s in the mkt but overall, very fierce.
can't wait to see a 2 door version of this.....eh, do they have something like that?

No 2 door for the 9-5. However, there are plans for a all new 9-3 in 2012. The sedan will be launched first, followed by a COUPE, Convertible and lastly the SportsCombi. The new 9-3 will be based much on the 2006 Aero X Concept Car, where some of the cues like the rear lights are already seen on the 9-5.

A SUV, the 9-4x will also be launched next year, a first for Saab.
