Hallo All,

Following the tradition.

Will be collecting a modest 318 this weekend - restricted $ for a higher end BM. First BM and as my nick says it all hv been a BM fan (for a long time).

What I like to do:

Collect die cast models mostly 1:43 a few 1:18 and a 1:12 VW Samba Bus- quite a no of BMs of cos.

Tennis and Badminton.

And of cos love to drive.

New to conti cars and will be asking Qs soon. Previous rides : Honda Civic and Jazz.

I tot the GPS has been std equip for the longest time.

do you mean the Garmin set? if it is Garmnin then yes......

I bought a mgt car from PPSL basketball the SA told me the Garmin didnt come with the car and as part of the sweetener, she wld throw in.
When I collect the car I will raise this up, to the manager if necessary.
Cant stand dishonest ppl and sadly too many of these in the car industry.

incidentally how much is the Garmin? couple of hundreds? 300-400?

also must see which month is the car.........i think only those June 09 onwards....

u mean the manufacture mth? Car was registered in Apr 2010 and when I test drove the car it had the GPS holder. Surely tt wld be the biggest give away tt the GPS shld come std?

April 2010 then it should have unless it was installed by previous owner...........
( i think got sun-roof too )

yep comes with sun roof. The car was a mgt car (ie from PML) so I guess it shld come with the GPS as std. wish me luck

BMW Navigation Portable is listed as a standard item in 318i since last year. In fact it applies to all the 3 series except for 335i which comes with BMW Navigation Professional. It is only recently that 320i and 325i comes with BMW Navigation Professional as well.
