Am in between 2 thots. Having heard of the E90 from this site. Was abt to pronk $$ down on a 320 going at 131K but now don noe.

Have been looking at the recent launch of the Passat 2.0 FSi and seems to be quite nice going at $109K.

If you guys have any suggestion, maybe PM me would be better to avoid a flame war.:furious:

Cheers

Re: new here

hi tomcat...
no problem here one... as long as you are honest with your views and back up your claims, its better to share problems so that everyone can learn from it.
I complain & complain about my E90 cause it brought me so much heartache the first month... spend more time in the workshop than with me....
but things start to stabilise abit (touchwood) and I starting to build a relationship with the car.

seriously and unfortunately, its really your luck when you collect the car. While there are many with problematic E90, there are more with problem free E90. So, its a matter whether you like the car enuff to take the risk. If you take the risk, be psychologically prepared for some problem. Then if no problem.. then you'll be happy. If got problem, tell yourself you took the risk and try to solve the problem at hand without going crazy. You got this site to complain and seek advice anyway...

if u can wait, perhaps worth test driving the IS250 and then decide from there too
It's a closer rival vs the 3-er now.

Re: new here

yeah i would just hang on to check out the IS250. the passat also looks really nice from what i have read, but not seen the car in flesh yet.

Have a thrash hold of pain on rd tax, so may not embark on cars more then 2 lt.

As for BM , after the calculation and indeed id they drop it in tandem to the 9001 COE drop, I would be tempted to do so.

Else, it looks like its going to be the passat or even the Golf GTi for me as it is plenty of fun.

Cheers and merry christmas.
