new exhaust smell

hi i recently installed an eisenmann muffler maybe 3 to 4 weeks ago. the smoke smell stinks when the engine is running. how long does this last or is it normal?

Depend how you driving style, my remus having stink for months due to less driving , after lut to kl and back to sg, no more smell.

yes its brand new, clocked around 1-1.5k km so far. i normally try to drive a bit more spiritedly. in addition, i realised that on eco mode it's louder than comfort.

You have the new muffler smell .... After one mone the fiberglass, metal parts etc would be "seasoned".

The sound would also change .... Become louder.
