Well! Was fortunate enough to be able to test drive the new 5 the day after its official UK launch. This is a truly beautiful car that easily surpasses the new E class. From its sleek lines which makes the new E look absurdly obese; to its bold handsome face which reminds one of the new Z4, its easy to see how this is going to be a best seller. The bonnet lines accentuate its broad bold shoulders which is equally apparent when you sit behind the wheel. And the elegance of the car harks back to the 60s as the car sweeps pass you with its elegant curves that slope down to a sexy rear end.
Unfortunately I didn't get to test the 535 but was offered the 530d which was so refined that I thought I was driving a petrol engine the whole time. Unfortunately the London traffic prevented me from going past 50km/h for more than 2 secs. Ultimately, I was about to pull out my cheque book at the end of the 30min drive but common sense prevailed of course...
Enjoy the pic and sorry for the crappy pic quality taken from my bberry. Oh and the guy in the pic is not me in case your're wondering
Pst - anyone wanna buy a 1yr old E93 335i?
