Need Help or Volunteer..

Hi everybody.. sorry to hv MIA for the past few months.. was busy with my wedding preparations.. ;p

I will be holding my wedding on Jan 2009, was wondering who has lobang to help me get a BMW 7-Series as my wedding car, and who wanna be my "brothers", so that I have a group of Bimmers for my wedding as it's always my dream but neither my partner nor me can afford a BMW.. :oops:

The "brotherhood" has been strong here, but to be included, you need to join us more....... not in the forum, but in events and meetups.

I used to attend the mitups few yrs ago when my friends were driving the bimmers.. I also wish to join the events and meetups but I dun drive you see, so now it's quite inconvenient for me to join the events and meetups.. :(

Its not that the guys here are not helpful, they are a friendly helpful bunch..I find it alittle weird to be "Brothers" if we hardly know you or your husband to be.

A few of them do not drive too, to name a few e.g. M3 (Nic) doesn't drive, HeyJudd and Fiercepink doesn't drive and only got their cars very recently (not BMW) and they are regulars at our meet ups and some gathering even before they got their car.

Don't you think it would be good to get to know people here, so its more fun at your wedding being "Brothers".

For one I would never get a bunch of ppl I hardly know to be my "brothers". My brothers are usually close friends who have been thru good and bad times with me. This was discussed before in another thread.

Of cos.. I would like to get to know more people here.. will make time for the next meetup.. but hope you all will not mind me, a non-driver.. ;p

Hey you are most welcome to join us! Its good to meet the guys here and them meet you too. I am sure many will be more willing to be part of your big day when at least they have met you before :)

actually this is damn weird... what is the big deal about having a group of Bmeers for weddings... i notice quite a few request has came out after the one that was featured in the newspaper.

for my wedding, i would very much rather people i know well.. people who has gone thru thick and thin to be a part of it. They are all happy because i am getting married... what car they drive, is really secondary... some of my brothers then don't even drive...

having a group of "strangers" or "semi strangers" is awkard and weird...

take it from me... someone who has been there and done that... a perfect wedding day is not derived from a group of nice cars accompanying you... it doesn't make anything better.... a perfect wedding is something that you and your partner enjoy, have fun and be able to share it together many years down the road....

I had a jaguar as my wedding car some years back... now i look back, i wish i had use my Civic back then. At least i can call it my own....

my 2 cents worth... not meant to offend anyone...

no our point is not about having nice car or whatever car for wedding (if u consider BMW a nice car)

but to have stranger attending and helping out ur own wedding... wouldnt u feel weird? at least i will..

and would u want strangers in their own car fetching around your relatives? (i rather hire a minibus)

its just weird....

would u knock on your neighbour's door that u dont know and ask if their maid can help clean ur room? i dont think so

maybe we all will come and help out if u pay us 500 bucks each...

its not about the money... but if i dont get anything in return... i will feel weird for helping out on your wedding as a STRANGER...

unless money transaction is involved...then i will feel right about being a stranger in a stranger's wedding... because i come to your wedding to sell

last time i go army.. they use Mercedes to convoy me there... serious... not bullshitting....

last time the 3 tonner is mercedes one....
