Need help in exhaust

bro, wat u mean? u mean by doing this i will suffer lost of torque?
my main concern is to make it abit smoother when i first accelerate..
by doing this will it help? hows the soud of it after i operate it...

Had a E46 318i before..

If you want to make it smooth...

1. Airfilter (K&N panel.. NOT cone)
2. Performance Spark plugs (Denso Iridiums)
3. 320i 2.0l STOCK exhaust (nice sound.. and doesn't cause you to lose low end torque, i've used it myself..)

318i already quite slow, if you lose low end torque..it will be quite terrible to drive.

Don't mind me asking, what was your previous car?

And welcome to the BMW.SG forums!

We're having a meetup this 29th...this sunday at Kallang Carpark, near macdonalds and KFC. Click on the "Monthly meetup?" link in my signature for more details.

You also can find out more about your car when you meet us there... cya! :wavey:

I think Ryan already answered u..

If ur objective is to make the car smoother and have slightly more torque, then get the K&N filter or the ITG replacement filter, better still, the underdrive pulley and spark plugs! Sure gets u better torque than operating the muffler and removing cat....

Prob cost about the same for the operation job u thinking off....

the reason for lost of low end torque due to lost of back pressure from the muffler and cat. Usually people will operate their cat and muffler if they need "straight thru" system such as a force induction car.. which back pressure will not help as oppsed to a natural aspirated vehicle.. :)
