Need help and advise... thanks!

Hi Folks,

Don't get me wrong for posting enquires on a Mercedes in a BMW forum . Tried posting on a mercedes forum a few days ago... (simply ghost town, no reply one !@#$%^&*)

Well this is how it goes, last Saturday had a jalan jalan with my wife to carmart... Been a proud owner of Z4 E89, try hard to talk her into a 325i but end up she goes for a C200K...zzz (boh pian)

So she will be collecting her car this week, need some advice on this Mercedes thingy from anyone who own/owned a C200K...

I will be sending the car for check up and reset ODB errors and changing of engine oil, transmission fluid and brake fluid.

Q1. Which brand of engine oil is highly recommended for W204 C200K? Liqui moly? at what viscosity/grade?

Q2. Which brand of transmission fluid is highly recommended and suitable for W204 C200K?

Q3. When I test drive the C200K, I felt the brake pedal kind of tofu soft and loose feeling, unlike my Z4 E89 which has the tight and firm feeling on the brake pedal when I depress. What should I do to get the firm pedal feel? Change Brake fluid or brake pads, advice?

Q4. Last but not the least, any specialise Mercedes workshops with reasonable pricing and value services in Singapore for recommendation? (This is a PI unit, can't go back to Agent for servicing)

Any advice, feedback and suggestion are deeply appreciated.

Regards,

U might want to go to MBM Wheelpower to do a thorough check. Personally I felt they are quite ok and knows what they are doing.

They should be able to give u advice on your above 3 questions.

Cheers.

i driven a E90 and sold it off to get a w211.
everything is diff...E90 steering feels heavy, W211 very light.
E90 cup corner very fun, W211 feel light, but not floating.
E90 fun to drive, but very tiring after a long journey.W211 very smooth, and relaxing.
BMW eat engine oil, Merc never eat!:blahblah::blahblah::blahblah:

A VERY BIG THANK YOU to you Jon!!! :inlove:

When I test drive my wife's C200K, I thought I was in a Jap car... cos the steering is so light. (Did a wide turning on the T junction out... LOL) So that's the signature difference between BM & MB.

Cool sharing Bro!
