Need advice on what Suspension to install

My stock rear suspensions has reached their end of life. They are worn out. So I am looking at all the options available to me. I am taking the opportunity to lower my ride and go for something more sporty (I do not track and still want have some comfort). I already have H&R sway bar installed. Would appreciate advice from all the bros out there.

Btw, I was told that cabriolet requires harder suspension as it is a heavier car. Is it true?

Then i would suggest you go with the Eibach springs and Kni FSD combo, i think most of them like it.

in a way it does but so far from wot i hv seen, things like pss9 or kw coilovers are designed to fit 320 to 330 ( i m using E46 as example ) regardless of sedan/coupe I think..
So naturally, the cab will get alot more drop. Even at the highest height setting, the drop is still alot.

How do you compare them vs Eibach springs with Koni FSD? Prices?

Can also try ground controls... not too bad...

i am going for the PSS for my 318i... PSS9 a little too hard core and over spec for the 4 pot...

Why do you say that it is too hardcore and over specs for 4 pot?

Coilovers is something i dont think you need, you're looking to lower the car and still have a comfy ride then Eibach and Koni FSD will do that nicely without spending so much.

PSS9,KW2,KW3, Ground Control are coilovers meant for the track with Ground Control being more track orientated and for you able to specify your spring rates.

I don't think you need that.

That depending on whom ur more comfortable with. BVO or J4C

trying to get a quote for them... they should be harder than our stock shocks, so it wont be very comfy...
