Re: Need advice on shocks for 46 320 cab

Simple...

COMFY AND FIRM = IMPOSSIBLE.
Closest you can get to having a firm and stiff ride is as per what ac mentioned. Koni FSD struts + Eibach ProKit Springs.

I personally tried the above combi. It drops the car real well and its superbly comfortable.
But, its not stiff at all. It kills me during cornerings.

Right now, im on KW V2 coils. Probably one of the MORE comfortable coilovers that can give you a relatively STEAM amount of fast and furious.

So my advice, if you want a comfy ride. Forget bout coils. If you're a hardcore driver and the word "comfortable" is not in your dictionary, then coilovers is the way to go.

Recommended coilovers: Blistein PSS9/10 ; KW V2/V3 ; Cross JIC

My 2cents.

Re: Need advice on shocks for 46 320 cab

Hi babyshots,

you can call Jeff from Fong Kim :9108 8456 (Koni)

if not like what bro Herman said, go for the KW v2 (no regret) call Wilson at 9690 5511

MTL

happy hunting

cheers

Re: Need advice on shocks for 46 320 cab

was initially more or less prepared to go for H&R spring + strut bar just to lower the ride for the look. After reading this thread make me wonder should I go for the Koni FSD struts + Eibach ProKit Springs as suggested? Any advice on the comparison of these two where comfort is concerned. Cost wise is it a lot of different?
Your advice is very much appreciated. Tx

Re: Need advice on shocks for 46 320 cab

Hi wmb23,

there's a guy selling his Koni FSD shock plus spring (rssid), you may wanna do a search.....but of course budget allows go for the KW v2 coilover.....(this coil allows you to adjust to the height you want and still can have comfort ride)........

Coilover is definitley more costly than any sports suspension and sports lowering spring....

buy from Wilson (Wilman) he gives life time warranty for coilover....

cheers
