N53 engine in 325i coupe in SG ?

Hi guys, I really need some help regarding the N53 engine.

Im actually considering to get an imported used 325i coupe, it comes with 1 or 2 years PML warranty.
BUT its 3L and I THINK its the N53 engine instead of the usual N52.
Heard from dealer that its the 1 and only 3L 325i in SG, so Im worried about the maintenance part.

I read online that BMW does not plan to put the N53 engine for sale in Australian and North American models due to the high sulphur content of the fuel available in these markets.

The main question is whether this N53 engine is suitable for use in SG ?
Anyone knows if theres any other BMW models that uses N53 engine in SG ?
So I know there wont be any problems in the long run.

I tried searching N53 in the forum but the term is too short. :(

Any input is greatly appreciated. :)

Any advice for me regarding getting this imported used vehicle will be of great help as well. =)

I Wonder if the 2.0L Direct Injection with 170bhp is not in Asia due to the same High Sulphur content in our Fuel???

Haiz................

That one is quite a gem.......good power, good economy, very tunable...I believe.

I seriously don't think thats the real issue though considering Mark X, IS250 is also using 2.5L direct injection engine.

IS250 sold here has been detuned (according to Lexus). Looking back M52 issue, i am not so sure whether there is issue or not.

If I am not wrong, the N53 engine is used in the 125i (also 3l) which is sold here so should be fine, no?
