My Joy and My Pain!

It's been a while (3 months ) since I've got my Dec 2007 E90 (320i XL). BMW is definitely a fantastic and refined drive and ride.

Like what I have been warned prior to getting the rides, people have been telling me that BMW means Bring More Worries, Burn My Wallet, Be More Whining etc... So there it goes...

1. One month after getting my ride, the washer pump leaks.
2. About the same time, the passenger side door cannot be open by remote.
3. 2 weeks after that, driver side aircon not cold.
4. And lastly, today the driver side door cannot be unlock by remote...

Well, it costs to replace but hopefully it will bring me back my joy again!

Lastly, I have been getting intermittent engine oil warning indicator light. Normally after I power down the car and restart, that warning light goes off. Any idea? Is something major brewing? :thinking:

Yes, it's a joy to drive a BMW! I am still loving it!

Cannot bang table. These are wear and tear, so lemon law don't cover. Lemon law only cover manufacturing defects.

1 question, is your ride on a slope when the intermittent engine oil warning indicator light pops?
Anyway... (1) Low engine oil level, maybe a total of 1L is lost, need top-up (2) your engine oil sensor's life is almost ending. Unsure of any other possible issues.

What do you expect from a second hand car of 7 years old. More so if it's a BMW. Hopefully nothing major. Best thing to do now is to send your car in to a reliable workshop to have it checked and scanned thoroughly. Good luck to you bro.

Maybe get WS to scan the ride for faults .... Might reveal something about the oil CEL ....
