Well-Known Member
Stock car from PML well taken care in pristine condition with no visible scratches or dents
1st owner, solely driven by me
OMV $64,039
COE $7,789

Registered on 7 May 2009
Year of manufacture 2008
Bluwater exterior with oyster interior
Low mileage (5,900km)
Parked under shade and washed by me at times and other times at Shell.
Accident free except slight knock on rear bumber (I reversed onto pillar on 1st day) which has been repaired at PML.

Known defects:
Rear signal light spoilt on 1st day but has been replaced by PML.
Kink on driver seat belt which I have not fixed but should be easily replaced by PML.
Driver door a little hard to close but PML says it's normal.

What's hot:
Acceleration is exhilarating and handling at high speed is superb.
I-drive with GPS on 8.8" monitor.

What's not hot:
Very few opportunity to drive fast on the congested roads plus the fact that I'm a slow ah pek type driver.
Some BMW quality issues like the failed signal light, stiff driver door and kink on seat belt annoys me.
Stiff suspension so have to slow down to a crawl to clear humps especially when exiting Junction 8.

Please email me at ktnpl@singnet.com.sg if interested to buy.

I have not confirmed selling as I have not found a new car and also my wife who initially preferred Lexus is now quite happy with BMW (from her passenger point of view since she does not drive).

Re: MWTS E90 335i (only 8 months old)

Maybe Lexus or Civic. If there is no good offer for my 335i, it'll still be driving the BMW :)

Re: MWTS E90 335i (only 8 months old)

More like a wasted trip.
U will return to BMW with stronger beliefs

Not sure yet. I also find the Lexus pretty staid but the aircon seats should keep the driver awake right? Honestly, I was attracted by the Lexus "promise" of reliability ahem no faulty lights, kinky seat belt and stiff door ... hopefully peace of mind to drive for a few years.

While my kids are still small, my first choice would be a red Honda Integra if only it were still in production. Next closest cousin is the trusty Civic....

Still an excellent choice which I can drive for 10 years until scrap, except for the reliability concern and high fuel consumption (currently 6km per litre). Even though those cropped up are minor issues at the moment, they are still a cause for concern on the long-term reliability of bimmer.

Re: MWTS E90 335i (only 8 months old)

or a heavy load. how many do u carry?

Re: MWTS E90 335i (only 8 months old)

2 adults & 2 kids with total weight of 175kg. Gentle driving. Very light stuff in the boot compartment.

Fuel consumption is currently 6.2km per litre to be exact.

Current mileage is 5,900km. Is it considered run-in?

Re: MWTS E90 335i (only 8 months old)

6.2 is adnormal based on ur descriPtion.
7.5km per litre closer to norm.

May be the route u take mostly start stop traffic

Re: MWTS E90 335i (only 8 months old)

Yup, could be due to start-stop conditions and slow traffic. My average speed is 20+km/h.

Re: MWTS E90 335i (only 8 months old)

I will try and take better shots this weekend. Meanwhile, here are some photos taken previously with my handphone.

juz for comparison or consolation, i doing about 6.8km/l for a 325, load = driver only and empty boot...... but im heavy footed... :D

cant imagine if i drive a 335..... :OTpolis:

hope that helps...
;)

Re: MWTS E90 335i (only 8 months old)

try to reconsider your sale unless u are willing to loose abt 20-30k, i think u will lose abt the same amt if you hold for another 6mths.
