thanks for your continued contributions to this thread everyone. R90, you might wish to consider getting an insurance quote for someone you know and trust (say a family member) who is entitled to the maximum NCD discount, and have you as a named driver, and see if that results in a lowering of premiums for you. think that is what ac323 was suggesting in your case. and as per diablo_728's suggestion, pls do ascertain the approved loan amount as well before deciding anything. if you do really like the car and there are loan restrictions, I am prepared to consider say, accepting an agreed amount upfront and the rest to follow in interest-free instalments or something. after all, my main consideration here as stated previously is to ensure that the boxster goes to someone who will appreciate and take good care of it.

BTW, I have updated my sg carmart ad and I am happy to allow and pay for a pre-purchase inspection as well to give the potential purchaser peace of mind as I am confident about the condition of the boxster. Cheers.

Have placed new ad as well as new pictures on sg car mart of my boxster s, and here is the link:

Have decided to reduce the price to $115k as well to try and have a quick sale. Depreciation is now reduced to about $16.4k, which I reckon is a pretty good deal for a boxster s with seven more years to go, and with mileage of about 51k. It is the family's third car and seldom used, and I think it it is a shame (and quite wasteful really) that it is parked in the basement carpark most of the time when someone should be driving and enjoying it instead.

Please help to spread the word around and let me know if anyone is interested? Thanks!
