Yeah, I agree.. darker colors make the M5 look better and more fierce... but still if one was offered to me, I would take it even if it was pink with green polka dots...

Some observations...

Low acceleration cam lobes. Lots more room for early lift with roller lifters if need be.
Crank main caps are all girdled and nice four bolt but could be splayed for better capwalk resistance.
Lots more room for intake to exahust valve area to increase.
Intake port angle is nice and high.

Yeah...think the speedo and steering wheel design are nice but dont like the center console..E39's better in that aspect...more driver friendly I suppose

It would be fun to push a 360 in an E60 M5 with 3 passengers... hehe... besides, I think once they launch the car, there will be tuner who can and probably will tune the car for even more horsepower. Usually in M cars the restriction to getting additional power is to improve the airflow, especially through the exhaust manifolds, so I feel that this will not be too difficult.
