just to recap - this was discussed and discussed on how great the CSL was then Jack pointed out that the tyres used were race tyres and the other cars in the list were most probably using street tyres. And that was that.

anyway i just felt its not a fair comp. this car is not a production spec to begin with. might has well take the hans joachim stark m3 gtr to compare..

Actually it's not a full blown race tires. MPSC isnt a race tire but it's bloody good enough to set a good lap time. Remember, this tire is semi slick grade...

So all in all, it's still a bloody good result. The car in stock condition was already doing well below 8mins...super car territory.
