met 2 solid toyota MR2

i met two solid solid MR2....number plate 4* and 4*...one red n one black....had a run with the red one....i had 2 passengers and a golf bag in the MC.....

once in stride 2nd gear...when the turbo spools...he shot to my side...speed was frightening...very very impressive....i think given another 200m of road he wud hv nailed me for dead....

after run we stopped to hv a chat....guess what....running 500+ hp. one of the nicest MR2 i have seen....sweex2

500 hp on the MR2 weight , u need to eject ur 2 passengers & golf bag haha..
ur MC got ejection seat?

but 500 for MR2 is monster !!

ok i spent the whole nite thinking about it...off the lights....i am away by about 4 car lengths b4..so i let go a bit...wait...n then i heard this thunderous sonic boom..next thing he was right next to me at 3digit speeds...

feel that if i stood on my throttle from 0..shud still be able to pull clear....but if i roll next to him and he is on full boost...he is gonna just pull away up to 140 at least..

his turbo took awhile to spool up...that sound was awesome..we were below the keppel viaduct...and the echo of it still makes my hair stand.

I might hv seen the red one at GarageR before.
One of the nicest cars in the old days. But still love the Supra the most.

you need to add additional crossmembers in the engine compartment... 500 hp quite achievable but need long list of parts.. if you want I can list them one by one??

have... my friends long term loaned me a Supra Turbo and MR2 Turbo before while I was in the US... lots of tyre smoking fun....
