Are you using aftermarket bulbs?

Re: Melted parts spotted behind both Headlights

Yeah, whole sets of after market Headlights, something like this.

Read somewhere that if the Headlights are cheapo from unreliable source, they can fry my wirings, hope that is not happening to me now

I had the same issue with some aftermarket brand. Change the bulbs.

A picture of the bulb. Anyway , do you mean I'm using a bulb with the wrong specs causing burn or due to quality of bulb?
One side of the bulb blew, or maybe the wires fried, so will be going to change bulbs for both sides, do you think I should do a rewiring?

Re: Melted parts spotted behind both Headlights

Frankly, I had no clue what kind of heat it is emitting, but surely it is too hot for the connectors......

Re: Melted parts spotted behind both Headlights

prob the bulb is drawing too much current. try a lower watt one?

Re: Melted parts spotted behind both Headlights

What kind of shop should I go to for the right solution?

Boss helped me with headlights before, you might want to try them.

Re: Melted parts spotted behind both Headlights

most of those good audio shops with experience in light bulbs n wiring will be able to assist you.

do you have a regular audio shop that you go to?

otherwise, the big names like Chuan Sing, Ping An etc would be a safe bet.

Re: Melted parts spotted behind both Headlights

Done some research and it seems like the bulb wattage is too high

Re: Melted parts spotted behind both Headlights

Went to change bulb n according to workshop wires didnt melt, duct tape melted n black melted thingthat melted n dripped down is black gum from connector
