Manual Conversion

Is a auto E36 converted to manual reliable compare to original manual e36 with replaced geabox, if both using exactly the same type of gear box? or same?

This topic has been discussed countless times. Obviously not the same gear box since one is manual and one is auto. The gearing ratios for both are also different, depending on which manual gearbox you choose.

And mistake in the info I provided earlier. All E36 manual gearboxes (except 6 speed) have the same gearing ratios, the differential ratios for the rear diffs are the ones that are different.
