I personally don't think its worth changing to M54B25. If you really want to change engine, M54B30 is a much better choice. If not, M52B28 will give you more power w/o the hassle of e throttle. The US S52B32 is also another.

Pros and Cons of SC. Pro is definitely more power. Cons is FC and money....

You definitely have to flash your ECU if you install SC. Btw, if you change engine (even same model but bigger CC), you also have to flash ECU.
