M3 carb with R10s

Nice!, btw, can anyone tell me the difference between a SMG and manual tranny M? I saw an ad having an 04 M3 carb that is manuak transmission, but I thought the E46s were all equipped with SMG II?

m3 can choose between SMG-II and 6-speed manual. however the m3s in singapore come standard with SMG-II unless special indent. don't think i've seen a manual one in singapore yet.

but in us yes a lot of manual m3s.

Thanks guys. I did a search and came up with a bunch of results that points to pre E46 M cars being manual and reading that the E46s came with SMG II that send me into the land of confusion. :ehhh:

Likely to be the same car I hv seen before where the previous owner put on 6pot Movit Front brakes and removed it when putting the car for sale...

nuts ---> I believe that cab's owner stay in Harbourview Towers (where I used to stay). Its exactly the same as the one he's driving and I think he's trying to sell it just one or two months back.

The paintwork is in excellent condition if its indeed from that dude. Get this ---> his maid washes his car everyday!!!!

And this dude's family is serious rich! 3 M3 cabs (one phoenix yellow, one silver and one sparkling graphite), 1 S class, 1 Cooper S and 1 C4S Cab!!!

There are e46 M3s in manual, but most come with SMG II unless you special indent. Even the e36 M3s had SMG as an option in the last 2 years of production, but these were SMG I and was a rather crappy system.

Bro, I used to stay at Harbour View Towers. Nah, I dun think he is related to the penthse guy who owns the Porsche and the S class lah.

His phoenix yellow was a 320i carbio fully converted to M3 cab look by Lye Design. If the silver M3 for sale is indeed the his car, he is selling it coz he bought a 630i. Cheers!

Good info man. I reached that conclusion because I saw a woman driving that C4S and S class and also the silver M3. Man the relationship is confusing to say the least
