Supposing that u have a $300-400k budget on a new car.

An obvious choice would be the high-revving V8 M3. Would you go for one if you'd never own one before?

The next generation 3 series is going to be out pretty soon. Worth paying this much for a dated model or for something more timeless like porsche (most models across a few generations looks rather similar). Don't know if i will drool over the F30 body when it comes out.

If the current M3 is the answer, is it AD vs PI with $50K savings. Any bros have any issues with their PI M3s. The electronics is so complex here. Are the workshops able to handle them. I never owned a PI non-M model. $50k can go a long way to maintain the car and renew road tax.

Apologies if this topic has been repeated many times. There is no way do dig out all the M3 threads in this forum. The term "M3" has too few characters.

i would buy used, preferably still within warranty period. Good savings and peace of mind.

PI is fine at the right price. many non-AD workshops have the capability to attend to m cars.

True. At least I can have the option of going back the AD workshop for repairs when external workshops cannot handle the task.

Thanks. :)

Bro Rocky,

Will like to share with you that Munich Automobiles is the AD in Singapore and is giving 5 years or 100,000km warranty and free servicing on all the M cars. PI car that require to be service at Munich Automobiles has to pay upfront $30,000 adoption fee first before allowing to be service and excluding servicing fee.
