Just to share with you folks.

Bought some 3M 'Dry CF' design sticker and decided to DIY one of my SMG gearknob.

Pictured shows the original ///M3 gearknob and DIY ///M5 gearknob in matt CF look. Nor so bad for a 1st time DIY as the 3M CF stickers is pretty elastic and can pull and stretch.

Can order them thru ebay..many grades and designs to choose from. Have to get those which are elastic and 'flexible'. use keywords like : carbon fibre frabic or stickers..etc. might have to order extra since mistakes are unavoidable when DIY. u need a hairdryer as well to heat the curves.. happy DIY!!!

prob not bro. our engines run in access of 100 degrees.the CF film will likely melt and stick onto your engine bay
