British magazine Car reports that BMW will be slipping the M-Power straight six engine from the E46 M3 into its Z4 roadster.
That's 3.2-litres and 343bhp of smooth, visceral in-line six, and the resulting Z4M is expected to be available in Europe by the end of the year and in New Zealand in 2006.
Expect the Z4M to cost about a third more than the current top of the range 3.0-litre model.
