So the only difference between the M3 & M5 gearknobs is the bigger arrows pointing up & down on the M5 one.

for SMG is like that regardless of LHD or RHD.... E46 M3 also liike that

I've had this gearknob for more than 6 months..no issues when I sent car in for service

Thanks! It shouldn't affect the other parts since it's just a gear knob lever... but I hope if anything else goes wrong they won't turn around and invalidate the warranty....

Well,the site advertises a retrofit fit, meaning all wires and cables should plug into the same adapter as what you have in your 3er. If done by other mechs in SG, I've not seen any one who have come up with a oem-style adapter connection. All involves cutting and joining of wires. IMO, this mod will not cause any problems with your PML warranty, as long as it does not FUKK up your electricals coz you know the PML techs would love to point their greasy fingers at that shiny knob of yours and say 'OOOOrrrrrrrr......................'

Yup - precisely my concern. But I'll probably go ahead with it - looks too nice to miss!
