But increasinly some hardcore modders retrofit LSD into their non M-cars...even in Z3/Z4 models too.

tks. one more question, when a car is jacked up, u rotate a wheel for instance, to the right & the opposite wheel rotate in the counter direction. is this a way of verifying the existence of a LSD?

it verifies that your differential is a non-locking one...ie. NOT LSD......

oh ok....tks. Nah....not looking for one. My car's power certainly does not entails me to fix one, instead im tinking of how to remove things to lighten the load......haa

hahhhah..take out rear seats and frt passenger seat...throw out spare tyre... change to bucket for driver...remove door panels...CF hood/trunk....should save u a fair bit.....

Not true. it came as an option on 325i and 328i.

Best way to improve the Power to Weight ratio is for the Driver to loose weight.

next best is to better use available power. hen i changed to lsd I also changed final drive ratio. Some bimmers are overgeared to the hilt!
