Lowered the ride first or what?

Yo dudes,
got another question.

i know after putting on new sport springs, alignment is needed. say after 2-3 months' time when my rims arrive, do i need to do alignment again?

or i should just do it at one go i.e. change rims then immediately go change the spring and shocks? which route ?

thanks

the shop says alignment is needed when you put on new rims/tyres as different brands of tyre affect the straight line thingy....:furious:

Could it be wheel balancing they are referring to? No harm done to do alignment, but IMO it won't make much of a diff to wait till everything is installed before doing a proper alignment.

Different threads on different tyres might affect the straight line thingy but it would be so insignificant that you won't feel the difference lah. By the way, you mind letting us know which shop said that to try and convince you to do another alignment?? :screwedu:

Re: Lowered the ride first or what?

If everytime you change a tyre you will have to do another alignment, then the shop is going to be very busy. Anyone with a puncture and change 1 tyre will have to do alignment again!
