What should I do ?

My uncle told me, just change the speakers to a better wan, nothing to do with the CDplayer.

true ?

alot of factors come into play with the stock system. Solution is just change the ice.

The player is the source, which is the most important thing.
Stock player is crap.

Change front components.
add a sub.
add amp(s)

Stock speakers use paper cone...they are not meant for abuse....ie playing loud.

Adding a amp plus components or co axial speakers help to improve the sound.

For front, get a easy to drive component speaker. Cost: 150 to 250.

For rear, get coaxial speakers. Cost: 80 to 150 (140 can get branded already)

Add a small 4 channel amp to drive them. Cost can start from 100+.

Will have sizable improvement in sound. Other than that, change headunit (non BMW ones please). Main problem is that these BMW ones just do not give such a clean signal. After the conversion to feed signal to aftermarket amps... Music, together with signal flaws are amplified.

Correction please....... :naughty:

What car you driving..... :hmmidont:

BMW does not suck.... it is the radio/cassette player that really sucks BIG time!!!!!

All those in favour of stock 'ladio'....say aye, if not ....Boo
