Loud Backfire sound from Sebring Z4 xos

Hi all, I'll be sending the z4 to the tuners shortly for regular servicing and coilovers so before that I just want to check if this loud backfire (sounds quite good like thunder actually lol) from a sebring xos is normal, as in the sound made after releasing the gas pedal is normal for this brand. Noticable only if top is down.

Wah lou why go off topic so fast lol.. seriously I think backfire is not too healthy for the car in long run something like not enuff combustion for the fuel or fuel mixture too rich or something right, aiya nvm I go ask WS.

It's normal.

Even on the stock Z4 you will hear backfire, just not as pronounced.

Sorry for the OT Valor... all phil's fault. You can ask him to arrange the bbq to make up for it.

I can hear my stock one backfiring... very very slightly...

that sound rocks. std exhaust u normally dun get it...cos the cats n the big air flow muff will clean off any unburn fuel. after mkt exhaust always smaller, lighter...n doesnt restrict back pressure....hence u will get unburned fuel detonating in the heat...thats how u get the pops. mine sounds like mega lao sai on some days....

Yea, I like the sound... I was a bit unsure about it at first, but grew to like it. It's intermittent though.

Valor, there is absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever. In fact, to me, it means you have a healthy engine.

Like summer I was kinda worried/unsure about it as first but now at least I know it's not due to a damaged xos system.

Now Phil will plan for us the BBQ & bring all the food & drinks .. Summer say one

Nics exhaust large one, backfire alot - Toto say one

Summers exhaust small small one, only very very slightly can hear

Hi guys ...yest fisrt time while i was coming to a stop heard a loud bang but tot maybe is other car exhaust lah but than i saw white smoke coming fm my rear thru my side mirror ..than the sound of my sebring exhaust not the same leow ...last time louder and after tat boom becomes softer ..is tis the backfire you guys are talking about ? or my exhaust KAPUT leow ? isit normal ?
