    6. No Indirect Advertising / Promoting Of Other Services and Companies
    7. Only members with 20 posts and more can start new threads
    8. No Thread Hijacking. Start your own Topic.
    9. Post only 1 Topic per sale. No cross-posting in other forums. No bumping of Topics more than once a day.
    10. Close your Topic after sale has been completed. (Click 'Administrative' on top of your thread for closing options)

    We will remove threads if they do not list the above requirements.

    For Buyers:
    1. Caveat Emptor - Before buying from user, do your homework. Check out the person's posting history, number of posts etc.
    2. This is a service we provide free and for the members convenience - we're not responsible for any deals gone bad.

    For everyone else:
    1. No OT. They will be deleted. If you continue despite us warning you, we will ban you from the classifieds completely.
    2. Report all suspicious sellers. If you've seen or come across them from other boards/forums - do report them immediately - it will help everyone here a great deal.

    Report all bad experiences (for both sellers/buyers) on the Buyer/Sellers forum.

Looking to buy a E59/E60...

Hi,
Am new here, look at owning a 5 series, but realise that 2003 is the cross over year between the E59/E60 models. Could any forumers here advise and assist with the pros & cons between these 2 models as I get differing opinons from friends and dealer... :confused:

not sure if tis de right place to post tis question, pls direct me 2 rite place if its wrong. Thanks in advance!

Before Nov 2003 -> E39
From Nov 2003 -> E60
=Different body
=Same Engine M54
=Different Price

From April 2005 -> E60
=N52 Engine

sori 4 my blooper... indeed it is E39, so confused wif all the "code"... so any owners here dat transisted between the 2 models can share if there is any difference in terms of handling, rigidity, performance...etc.

wah.... how to compare... new generation versus older generation...

difficult, and not fair to compare...

but both are great cars!

Even though both have same engine (applicable to M54 only ), so the bhp, torque and all that is the same, but the handling is totally different. You need to hop into each of them for a test drive. Like what SMy said, both are great cars to drive....no doubt.

e39 is a great car bt like wat doc say u cant compare...
