They can set the ratio to your specification, and lock from 40% to 80%. Price range from USD700 to USD1500 depending on spec

Actually from Metrix who sell through ebay, though I have looked at Diffs online as well (they are bit more expensive). Have not seen an E90 fiff listed, but well worth checking them. They can be slow replying to emails though beware! Probbaly best to check diffsonline to see if they do one!
Not sure about the DSC, presumably the ADB or whatever thety call the electronic diff will no longer work. Personally i switch al that garbage off anyway, can't stand it.

I will, but i'd imagine it will be harder more expnsive to fit a non BMW part. The interesting bit will be whether the gearbox holds. Naturally the wife is hoping it does, i have already sourced a 5 speed manual for SGD1800 though i think it would need a prop shaft as well. But then there are plenty of people running stage one superchargers and the box has held. We'll see.
