Yo andy,

I cannot find the product in the linK (that you gave me) of the LED bulbs that you installed for the rear lic plate. Your rear lic plate lights must look like those on the new lexus IS 250??

Can you PM me your HP number? I need to find you and interrogate you. Thanks.

Des.

Des.... from bro Xuexun .

"Ordered them at http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/

1pair of (239) 36 -39mm Bright White Dome Light (18 Leds) Superior Ver Xe for 7.05pounds each.

It is really simple to change the bulbs. Just remove the cover, pop in the bulbs and put back the cover."

Happy buying...

Re: Looking for Andy Red Coupe

Yo andy, the leds just arrived today...

The bulb seems to be a little longer than the OEM one....meaning i had to twist and bend the metal contact at the holder.

Do the bulbs burnt thru the plastic cover?

Re: Looking for Andy Red Coupe

Bro.. LEDS will not burnt the plastic cover.. i have given up playing with LEDs many years back.

You saw mine burnt until orh orh is cos i was playing with the bluish 10w bulbs.. i even drilled a hole to cool down the buish bubs.

LED bulbs cannot withstand too much heat.. therefore.. your plastic cover need to drill a small little hole for the LED to breath.. else the LEDs will burn very fast..

Re: Looking for Andy Red Coupe

Those that i got from the website burns just after a few months of usage. Tried 2 sets already still same result. But very beautiful initially. Slightly long but not a problem i guess.

Now i dont order from them already, tried a shop at New World Centre recommanded by bugaboo. Leds very white, made in Taiwan and from the box it say its heat resistant. Not very very bright as only have 2bulbs in it but still acceptable. On the car for a week already hope it wil last.

Re: Looking for Andy Red Coupe

Why make it so bright, I like it dim so it won't catch attention so easily....
